AMAIM was one of those series that was getting attention for the wrong reasons, and like many of you, I’m attracted to that.

Before AMAIM first ran, we only knew that it was a new robot anime from Sunrise (technically “Sunrise Beyond”, the former Xebec). Thanks to the long shadow of Gundam, the phrase “Sunrise robot anime” implies a major title, something to look out for. For all we knew about it, it could wind up being the next Code Geass, or something.
