Thanks for the review, I hadn't watched the show but was a little curious about it. Glad to hear it's maximizing the potential of its premise. "Boxxo" is a stroke of localization genius.

re: the dispiriting staying power of isekai, Crunchyroll's smart TV app as of yesterday has Am I Really The Strongest? at top billing and Frieren literally not on the front page in any way whatsoever - only accessible if you search for it. This is to put it mildly, a bummer. (Also makes you wonder if the folks who negotiate the licenses understand how bad the visibility is for the stuff they just shelled out big bucks for.)

This is pure fanboy speculation on my part but I think it says a lot that Crunch even lets prestige stuff fall to the wayside, or lets other streamers get it, but never ever misses a single shonen or isekai series no matter how far down into the dregs the isekai is. I assume they have a massive built-in "silent majority" audience of gamers that dwarfs the stuff that anime hardcores like. Kind of like how a *lot* of people have seen Baki.
