The before-opening recap in Episode 11 is about as hard as I have laughed watching anime. What a show. It's weird to review about a harem show and have more to say about the MC than the girls, but I guess that's what makes it worth talking about.
Speaking of the girls, something I didn't get to and which was kind of just outside of my mind when I was writing this was how much I enjoy Hakari and Karane's particular camaraderie/rivalry/mutual crush. They've reached an understanding.
I particularly liked how Shizuka being small and quiet somehow became a recurring driver of physical comedy. It's the kind of bit that could easily feel mean-spirited in a lesser show but it works well here.
